The water park is adorned with waterfalls, huge animal statues, and more. It is a place that you can feel good about bringing the kids on a hot summer’s day. But, when the weather is right, a water park just can’t beat the “real thing.” Ditch the wave pool for real surf and board a real boat instead of one adorned with bumpers.
As mentioned earlier, this whole area is well-known for its dazzling beaches and beach excitement. In summertime, many of the beaches and seaside towns come alive. Citizens from many adjacent towns all head to close by Rehoboth Beach. The town’s Bandstand is positioned near the boardwalk, and is a totally free al fresco music and entertainment setting, open since the sixties. Reader's Digest named the boardwalk "Best of America" in May 2006 and AARP named the town as one of five dream towns to which a senior could retire. The town has a number of festivals and events including the Sea Witch Festival and the Rehoboth Beach Independent Film Festival. Rehoboth Beach is also renowned as one of the east coast's most fashionable LGBT-friendly holiday spots.
